Course Overview
The Program in Cinematography is a comprehensive, 6-month course designed to train aspiring filmmakers into skilled and industry-ready Directors of Photography (DoPs). Spanning72 sessions, the program blends technical mastery with creative storytelling—equipping students to work across film, television, OTT, and digital platforms.
The course begins with core fundamentals such as camera systems, exposure, lenses, and composition, and gradually progresses into advanced lighting, camera movement, visual storytelling, and digital cinema workflows. Students learn not just how to operate a camera, but how to think visually and craft emotion through images.
With a strong emphasis on practical learning, students engage in lighting exercises, movement-based shoots, visual storytelling projects, and VFX-integrated cinematography. By the end of the program, they develop a professional showreel and body of work, preparing them to step confidently into the industry as well-rounded cinematographers.
